Description
The sled rides and driving initiations take place at La Giettaz, in the preserved forests of the Aravis massif. In the company of husky and malamute dogs and our state-certified musher, you discover the art of driving a dog sled team in an exceptional natural setting. Each team heads out in pairs on the sled — one seated at the front, one standing at the back — for a silent and enchanting ride through the winter mountain landscape.

Warm, waterproof clothing is essential — winter coat, warm gloves, hat and waterproof boots. The speed of the sled and the altitude can accentuate the feeling of cold. The activity is subject to snow conditions and may be adapted depending on the weather. Takamaka will inform you in advance of any programme changes.
