Admission
The activities proposed by Takamaka are open to all. However, specific age limits are applicable for some activities. Also, knowing how to swim is essential for water activities.
Special conditions of registration for several persons, the subscriber commits himself to make known and approve, to all registered participants :
- the general sales conditions
- the insurance conditions and any other document that may be given to him/her.
Reservation
All bookings will only be confirmed on receipt of the registration form, marked "good for agreement". This must be accompanied by a deposit of 70% of the total price. This deposit must be received 10 days before the departure date.
If the balance is not received 10 days before departure, we reserve the right to cancel the booking without compensation.
Gift vouchers
No refunds on vouchers will be made.
Cancellations
Cancellations by participants will be charged according to the following scale:
- between 45 and 30 days before departure: 25% of the total amount will be retained
- between 29 and 21 days: 50%.
- between 20 and 10 days: 75%.
Less than 10 days or no show at the place of departure or place of stay: 100% of the total amount of the trip or stay.
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing (registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, telegram, fax, etc.), the date of receipt determining the date of cancellation.
Changes by the organiser
We reserve the right to modify the programme of a stay for safety reasons. The client shall not be entitled to any compensation if, for reasons of force majeure, the holiday or services have to be cancelled or modified in essential respects. The organiser will endeavour to offer the customer a replacement holiday or services and the customer will then have a period of 7 days to accept the replacement product or to terminate the reservation without any charge to him/her.
NB: in the case of services already started, alternative routes or activities will be proposed by the organisers.
Modification by the client
Any modification by the client of essential elements (change of programme, date, destination, number of participants, etc.) will be considered as a cancellation and will incur the same charges.
Risks
Each participant is aware, given the specific nature of our programmes, that he/she may run certain risks due in particular to the distance from medical centres. He/she assumes them with full knowledge of the facts and must comply with the rules of caution and follow the advice given by the professionals. TAKAMAKA does not have the means to check the level of sports practice of its customers. In the case of sports activities with or without equipment, and especially in the case of sports equipment rental provided for in our programmes (except for programmes supervised by an instructor), the clients acknowledge that they have sufficient technical competence to practice this sports activity and use the rented equipment alone. The same applies to all activities or rental of sports equipment not included in the programme and/or purchased directly at the place of stay. In this case, the client practices such activities under his own responsibility and at his own risk.
Insurance
We have taken out a professional liability insurance policy with the company MMA, AZURO ASSURANCE number 114 912 038. The participants must have an individual physical insurance.
Disputes
Any disputes arising from these conditions shall be referred to the Commercial Court of Annecy.
