Description
HOW THE CHALLENGE WORKS — A PROGRESSION TOWARDS OLYMPIC LEVEL !
Phase 1 — Rifle Shooting Discovery
Discover this discipline in the company of our professional experts. A 22 long rifle in hand, you'll learn how to position correctly and gradually release your stance. Your sharp and focused eye guides your shots towards the targets set at 10 metres. With your breathing under control, calmly squeeze the trigger.
The fundamentals are taught progressively by our discipline experts — positioning, breathing, aiming and trigger release. Within minutes, every participant finds their footing and experiences the intense satisfaction of landing their first clean shot!
Phase 2 — Prone & Standing Shooting
The progression unfolds naturally : prone shooting first — the most stable position, ideal for beginners — then standing shooting, far more demanding in terms of balance and concentration. Two emblematic biathlon postures, two difficulty levels, two distinct challenges to test the precision and self-mastery of your teams.
Phase 3 — The Real Biathlon Session: Race & Shoot Combined!
If you wish, experience a genuine biathlon session by discovering the race — shoot combination. Physical effort precedes the aiming — and this is where the true magic of biathlon comes fully to life. Shooting while breathless, managing pressure, controlling your breathing in front of the target — an incomparable sensory and emotional experience, lived collectively in great spirits and genuine personal achievement.
LA CLUSAZ — AN OLYMPIC SETTING FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL TEAM BUILDING !
Practising biathlon at La Clusaz means immersing yourself in a territory profoundly tied to the culture of Nordic skiing and alpine winter sports. The Aravis massif, its dense forests, snow-covered landscapes and pure mountain air — every element of the setting amplifies each sensation and anchors the memory durably in your teams' minds.
FAQ — LA CLUSAZ BIATHLON CHALLENGE

The .22 long rifle is a competition rifle used within a strictly supervised professional framework. Our experts maintain constant safety oversight on the shooting range. The activity takes place in perfectly safe conditions for all participants.
Do you need to be sporty to take part in the Biathlon Challenge ?
Not at all! Biathlon combines physical effort and shooting precision — but Takamaka adapts the level of each phase to the group's profile. The shooting-only session is accessible to everyone, and the race-shoot combination remains optional. Every participant progresses at their own pace.

Absolutely ! The Biathlon Challenge can be structured as a team competition with collective scores, an official ranking and a prize-giving ceremony — for collective emulation and competitive adrenaline worthy of the great Nordic events.
Is the Biathlon Challenge available in summer as well as winter ?
The biathlon is primarily practised in its winter version on snow. For summer seminars, Takamaka also offers an adapted summer biathlon format — contact our team to discover the options available for your dates.
