Parêt Hire

A wooden board, a snowy slope and a healthy dose of mountain conviviality — the parêt is authentic Savoyard downhill at its finest. The ancestor of the modern sledge, it is part of the culture of the Aravis and offers a rustic and fun descent experience to share with family or friends. Collect it from our Annecy shop on your way up to La Clusaz.

Description

The parêt is a traditional Savoyard sledge — a simple wooden board you sit on to slide down the slopes. No steering wheel, no complex mechanism — just a bit of balance and plenty of good humour. It is an ancestral practice still very much alive in the Aravis massif, appreciated for its authentic and off-beat character. Ideal for group outings, seminar activities or simply experiencing the mountains differently — the parêt is an experience that very few resorts still have to offer.
