Yooner Hire
Half sledge, half snowboard — the yooner is the most original snow slider around. You sit on it, hold a central handle and glide down the slopes in a semi-standing position, with a freedom of movement and sensations unlike anything else. Collect it from our Annecy shop on your way up to La Clusaz — the yooner is accessible from the first run and suits all levels.
Description
The yooner is used on marked ski slopes, with or without skis on your feet. It consists of a rounded seat mounted on a central ski and a support handle — a surprising balance to find, but one that comes quickly and delivers a truly unique gliding sensation. Accessible to beginners and experienced skiers alike, it offers a fun and original alternative to classic snow equipment. Ideal for a different kind of day on the slopes of La Clusaz and the Aravis massif.
Equipment is collected from our Takamaka shop at 23 Faubourg Sainte-Claire, Annecy, before heading up to La Clusaz. Advance booking is recommended. The yooner is used on marked slopes open to alternative snow equipment. Bring clothing suited to skiing conditions.
