Description
The tandem paragliding flight takes place above Lake Annecy and offers a breathtaking view over the turquoise waters of the lake, the lakeshore villages and the surrounding Alpine summits. Settled in your harness facing the landscape, accompanied by your state-licensed pilot, you glide through the air in complete safety and total confidence — the pilot manages the entire flight, you simply enjoy the ride. A unique, effortless and deeply moving experience that every participant lives in their own way and talks about for a long time. Rotations are organised so that every member of your group gets their flight.

Flights are subject to weather and flying conditions — they may be rescheduled in the event of strong wind, low cloud or rain. Takamaka will notify you as promptly as possible of any programme changes. Closed-toe shoes and mountain-appropriate clothing are recommended. Tandem paragliding is not advised for anyone with heart conditions or medical contraindications to aerial activity.

Do participants need experience or a head for heights?
Not at all. Tandem paragliding generates no feeling of vertigo — it is far more impressive to watch than to do. No prior experience is required, and the vast majority of participants are surprised by the gentleness and serenity of the flight.
How long does the flight last?
A flight lasts between 15 and 30 minutes depending on the day’s flying conditions. Allow a half-day for the whole group to fly, accounting for rotations and waiting times.
Are flights guaranteed whatever the weather?
Not at all. Flights are subject to weather and flying conditions. In the event of unfavourable conditions, Takamaka reschedules the flights and notifies you as promptly as possible to rebook.
Are there any medical restrictions?
Tandem paragliding is not advised for anyone with heart conditions or medical contraindications to aerial activity. If in doubt, consult your doctor before booking.
Is the activity supervised?
Yes. Every flight is conducted with a Takamaka state-licensed pilot. The passenger has nothing to manage — the pilot handles the entire flight.
